This game is so god damn frustrating! If I go to another recruit say, Jonathan, they automatically spot me! I'm not doing anything weird either. They are basically like, "oh you look exactly like us, that means your an enemy!!1!1" The worst part is if your character dies you can switch to a new recruit. Yet they will still hunt down your new character even though he hasn't done anything yet! The doctors are the worst part though. They sound like Little Richard loudly yelling and all enemies in the base swarm and attack you. If you shoot an enemy in the head, they are knocked out for some reason. I don't know, I would die if I was shot in the head. Also some super soldier needs to be re-calibrated before he goes to battle. During this process he is brain washed and completely forgets everything he learned.

Now how come this soldier can remember to walk or fire a gun for that matter if he constantly loses his memory?! I'm completely new to this series but so far this game is really bad. What I usually do now is go all GTA style just like I did with Splinter Cell. Can anybody tell me what I am doing wrong? Recruits currently serve no purpose to me as well but as an extra life for me. Oh and why are all my squad mate's names funny? A name like Sea Urchin and Sunfish are really dumb.

You see the blue chameleon symbol appearing on top of the soldier's head? That means the enemy thinks you are a friend and won't attack you. But if they spot your soldier doing suspicious moves, the blue chameleon symbol disappears and they will immediately spot you as an enemy and attack you. Anyway, if the blue chameleon or lizard symbol disappears in some other reason, just hide away from the guards.

Capture one of the doctor as your recruit and while you are playing as a doctor, the other doctors won't get alarmed.

Because you are using Snake's tranquilizer pistol, you fool.

Read their description. If it says "put this soldier in Spy unit or medic unit, or sneaking unit" do as what it says. Sneaking unit means the soldier pretty much useful to carry them along within missions. And their names are nicknames. Not their real name. Snake is not his real name, it's his code name. Soldiers use code names.

  1. Yeah I do have that symbol. It disapears though as soon as I leave the truck. The same applies to Sparrow who is a Lieutenant.
  2. Oh thats gonna be real easy. As soon as they yell the soldiers just come in. It gets increasingly hard just trying to catch and knock one out.
  3. I didn't know that. As I said I am completely new to this series. Guess it explains why they have zzz's coming out of their head.
  4. I did put them in their unit's, etc. Some though go with me into the mission and as I said only serve as an extra life for me. Still though a name like Sunfish is lame. Might just call one Furry Rabbit. :dozey:
It gets even more insane though last night. I had to blow up something to divert attention at the rail bridge. I am running with the Lieutenant and everybody has spotted me. I literally do a suicide bomb technique and blow the entire shack up with me inside. Roy calls me up (like he always does every second including in the heat of battle like when he had Malaria) and tells me I need to get back to the truck. I then go back to the main menu screen because I guess you never really need to get back to the truck. It comes out the the player never really died because of that cut scene. :|
