Microsoft has come out with this new beta AntiSpyware program for all users who have windows. I was wondering if anyone has downloaded it yet to see if it works any good.
Yeah it's very nice. And the SpyNet thing sounds like a good idea, whenever it finds spyware or allows something it sends it to SpyNet which all the users with the program are connected to and SpyNet automatically updates the program to defend against any new spyware.
Fantastic program, get it while its free!
One of the best things apart from the inbuilt history and tracks erasor is the system explorer tools, you can effectively backtrack processes and see where they originated from, this works great for finding out what exactly is running in your system and start up.
Could give you prior knowledge of any spyware or viruses that have added themselves to your running processes.
It also tells you what Active X plugins are running, Since Active X can be damaging to your system if it contains malicous code, then it will inform you of any plugins that could damage your system or make it vunerable from attacks by hackers, etc.
Got this a couple of weeks ago.. Funniest thing is that it removed all the Alexa toolbars that comes shipped with IE for XP 1 product removing it's creators junk
Yeah, this program looks really good. Funny thing is I have yet to actually see it catch anything considering it came up with zero detected for me. GG Firefox
