The Microsoft Fingerprint reader is designed to relieve the hassle of constantly typing usernames and password combinations to password protected website accounts or applications. It is not intended to replace passwords only offer a better medium of inputting them.

It's great, makes logging on easier because all you need to do to log on is put your finger on the reader and thats it, helps secure your windows account and stops people looking at you passwords as you type them known as "Shoulder Surfing". The only fault with the device is it has no support for Firefox, although im sure a little change in the software code could allow this, microsoft would rather allow IE users only, which is a shame as Firefox now owns 18% of the market.
Does anyone else own this ingenious piece of hardware? Because i'm looking to find others opinions on the device as most of the people i talk to have never even seen a fingerprint reader on a pc or any form of Biometrics anywhere.
