touch screens suck because you have to touch something that someone else just touched, they break down faster than conventional screens, plus they get lots of smudges
 
I really don't see much innovation here, just more shit you have to press and fiddle around with to get working.

No retail store I know of changes prices on sale items in the middle of the day, so I don't know what they're going on about in that one.

Yeah, I spotted that. Where I work, the prices get changed over night and tickets are printed first thing the next morning (before the store opens)

If they are implying you can apply price adjustments to electronic tags on the shop floor wirelessly through the use of the touchscreen, then is there any need for the price adjustments to be applied by the merchandiser/touchscreen at all? Get headoffice to do it for you, through the amazing internetz.
