Hey, I thought Id make a thread where people could post their own MIDI or WAV music that they have made/arranged/remixed.

Ill start it off with a few midi songs that I made, and they arent really songs, they just amount to playing around with finale.

(i didnt write missionary, its an arrangement of "the missionaries song" from black and white)

Tell me how to make them and then maybe I will ;)

Seriously, how do you even make midi music?

haha that is funny, so why did you ask then anyway?

Anyhoo heres 3 midi's that I did NOT compose, try and guess the name of each one.

#3 is pretty obvious, and #2 is from a game.

Well yeah, I have that program, but I have no clue at all how to make midi music like in games, only piano music :(

Ya in order to create music like in games you need to really know how to use the program as well as actually composing music.

I'm a composer, and I use midi, but none of my recent stuff will run on most people's sound cards properly - I have 2 soundcards and 2 sound modules, so there's more notes than one soundcard alone can handle :cheese:

I don't mind showing people my music, but I'd have to mp3 it, and I don't have web-space, and mp3s are too big to attatch. If anyone has anywhere for me to upload stuff, I might show you guys some.

Alternatively, I could show you all some REALLY crappy old midi files of stuff I made YEARS ago. But I'm not sure I want to do that :)

Move this to the Audio and sounds one under editing

I personally use finale: printmusic, it cost me $80, the finale itself costs over $400, i also use cakewalk professional to convert them at times

oh, and for midiguess
#1 The Planets: Mars
#2 I have no clue
#3 Super Mario Bros. 1-1
