Midnight Release, Anyone?

Best Buy of Moreno Valley, California, is doing a midnight release party for Half Life 2. It's sponsored by X103.9, the local rock station.

Anyone else aware of midnight releases? Mine takes place Monday, 10:30-1:00 am.

Yes, midnight Seattle time=08.00 GMT. The same time all around the globe.

Bestbuy's recived an internal letter saying to start selling half life 2 right away.

Now not all stores apparently "Read" their internal memo's, but quite a few bestbuy employes all over the net that do have store owners that read them, are in fact selling them.

Actually not the same time around the world but at the same moment. Pacific Standard Time will be 1201 am tuesday morning so monday at midnight when the day turns slowly to tuesday, and I do mean slowly. I wonder if steam will crash from a billion people unlocking at one time?

Well Steam handles 100000's of logins each day for CS players. Unlocking will be fine i expect.
