This isn't for source, but I have been a fan for this a while. Very fun mod. They have finally posted once again.

I am currently not working on this mod but I would love to see it grow! It was oringally pretty big but then they stopped and got small. I would love it if some people would come and help these folks and bring the community back it once had. Even with the current version it is insanley fun.

long time no see

MFQ3 is not dead even thought it might look like it, but in face we are anxiously awaiting the release of the Quake 3 sources, which John Carmack promised (?) to do around Christmas this year, ie very soon

I would really like to bring out a new version of MFQ3 once these sources are out, as they will allow us to change some key elements of the engine which prevented us in the past from implementing certain features.

What this means for you is that we will need YOUR help again to bring out the new version! Would be great to get all the people back together again who worked on previous versions, and also any additional help would be more than welcome!

On top of that we could need some experienced engine coders, who could do some improvements to the rendering part of the engine as I personally wont have time to do everything and research on how things work in the engine. So if you got experience in working on OpenGL graphics engines and a good load of sparetime available please contact me!
