MineCROFT app briefly appears on iphone app page

it's not actually called minecroft but maybe it should be

Just when you thought it was safe to come out of your cave, a new app puts the Java hit Minecraft on your iPad or iPhone. How did the developer do it?

According to the description on Appshopper.com, it's a "no-hax client...built without code or content from the original." That certainly implies to me that Minecrafted the iOS app is actually just a knock-off of Minecraft.
