So I want to make a short series of maps that are Half Life related. And I got the idea, what about Gina? (The Hazard Course woman) She obviously did some interesting stuff and you can see her here and there throughout Opposing Force and Blue Shift. So, I have to ask, has it been done?
If it hasn't, I plan on making a short series of maps (3-5 or so) where you play as Gina on the day of the accident. It would be complete with the beginning train sequence, original Lab style from Half Life, and peeps at other things that occured during the original game. (Like security cameras showing Gordan and such.) You would have to fight your way out, and it would have some sort of suprise ending.
So, I want to ask you... would any of you play this? Also, please give me ideas, suggestions and feedback on what you think I should do.
I plan on using the original textures from the game, but if a 2D artist would like to help, I would certainly love it. (I both hate and suck at making textures. ) I am doing this map to perfect my lighting-- something that I think HL1 was great at. Don't expect something like Half Life: Submerged though, I don't think I'm quite that good yet. ;-)
