What are the best things to minimze map size so that it downloads fast Thanks.

what do u mean? downloading from a server downloading from a site???? removing some stuff from the map to make it smaller be more specific

Don't use custom textures. That and custom sounds destroy filesize.

And by 'destroy', I uh, mean make bigger. wtf Will.

- Standard optimization, with special attention paid to nodraw and func_detail.

- Increase the lightmap scale on faces that don't require much light detail.
