Two small things that have been bothering me more and more recently. Note: I play medic more often than not and my ping is pretty good (usually <50)

One-shot kills. I die from one shot kills. A lot. Now I'll get killed from one shot critical shots a lot too, without exaggeration, like five times in a row this evening, but recently I've been having runs of say three or four in a row. Even without those, I'll unload a syringe and a half into an engineer running straight at me, and he'll drop me with a single wrench shot (with full health). I'll stab a soldier with the bonesaw numerous times, and they'll turn around and kill me with one shot from the shotgun. (Usually I'll land four bonesaw hits before they turn around). I know I'm landing shots, because I'll hear it and see blood. I know the medic is a weak class, but is this normal?

People out to get me. I frequently (depending on the map) will have someone follow me to their death, and away from the winning point in an attempt to kill me. In Dustbowl, I've had a pyro follow me all the way back to the second point (note: we just started, and we're holding the point pretty well). He could have turned around and walked into the point and tried to kill some people. Demos, pyros, engineers, scouts... I've had them follow me into a crowd of my own team mates, taking fire from them and completely ignoring otherwise easy kills to get me. What is that? I don't have a mic and only text strategic info to my own team while I'm dead, so it's not that I'm being rude. Does that happen to you?

Tonight was the first time I left a game mid-match after dying five times in a row from one-hit critical shots.

Medics are always the top priority for the other team, now wonder you're being followed. My recommendation is to just turn a corner, and start going backwards, unloading needles just where you were. When they round the bend they get a face full of AIDS.
Long thin corridors are Medic heaven too; no room to dodge the needles. The drop-down exit from the spawn on 2Fort comes to mind. I've killed many a pyro chasing me down that hall.

As for Engie wrenches, just get out your bonesaw to even up the odds. Same crit chance, and higher range too (you also have 25 more health then an Engi). But why are you around enemy engies at all? Let your explosive teammates handle their stuff.

Needles do 10 damage each for a total of 400 damage per clip. That's right, 400 damage. No wonder "combat Medic" is a useful tactic.

Yeh, think about it, you kill this wild person running around with an idiot infront of his Heavy buddy or do you kill the heavy with over 400Hp at anyone time.

i like to play medic often too, and what probably annoys me most is not the medic itself but the heavies..

countless times ill be healing a heavy when some enemy will approach from behind..i start running around dodging his rockets and all, but my heavy budy is just completly oblivious because he never bothers to turn around
heavies should make more effort to look after their medics..

Lots of people are totally ****ing obvlivious to their surroundings once they get a medic. You'd think the interpretive dance of WILDLY JUMPING THE **** UP AND DOWN IN FRONT OF THEM while under attack would be understood by most at this point.

Get a mic that's half the problem solved. At least then the dense people know you're being attacked. Whether or not that they do something about it is another thing.
