minus the bear are good, great summer music though i find their albums very sporadic. the format is usually, to me, akin to good song, good song, mediocre, one minute filler track, good song, mediocre, etc... but yeah, otherwise good. i love the track women we haven't met yet, and drilling was a song that never left my mp3 player a few summers ago in turkey. new album doesn't do much for me, though.

one or two of the members used to be part of the hardcore/metal band botch, who were great. i would sacrifice minus the bear for a botch reunion anyday.

I agree with you on the albums though that can be said about most albums from any artist. I just take the songs I really like from all their albums and throw them all in one playlist. The new album had a couple good songs, really like my time as well as Into the mirror.

although this is personal preference, i'm afraid i can't say that. you honestly don't have many artists with albums that you love from track one to track end? i mean, i have loads of albums that i like for only a few tracks, but just as many and more that work perfectly at entire lengths.

If I think really hard I can think of a few, but for the most part I can't say that I do. Pretty much any CD I can think of will have tracks I skip just about every time.

pink floyd are probably a good place to start.

To be honest I feel the same way about pink floyd. I'll listen to a few songs over and over such as comfortably numb but many of their songs simply don't do anything for me. And that could be because like I said 95% of the music I listen to is rap, but even with rap songs I'm having a hard time coming up with albums I can actually listen to from track 1 all the way to the end.

I guess that's true, but only because I forget or am too lazy to change the track.

Menos el Oso = god tier album. I must see them live one day, absolutely love David Knudson's style of melodic tapping and spazzy effects.
