There is now no excuse to not play the most under appreciated game of 08,great soundtrack and art design.....I really recommend this game to everybody it's awesome!

OH FOR THE LOVE OF GOD.

When is this going to come to the UK Steam store? I've been holding out specifically for the Steam release.

Still at full price for my country. What a shame.

The new world is where it's at, bros.

Mmm still full priced here. Shame. I got excited for nothing.

UK doesn't even have it at all on Steam. Despair not though, since it's £15 in Game and Gamestation, and the former has it in a £25 double-dip deal with other titles, including Dead Space just in case you want to complete your 'completely ignored kind of good but pretty flawed EA Autumn 2008 release' collection.

I got my copy last Monday as a reward for handing in my 21,000 words. All things considered, I feel slightly unrewarded.

edit: My housemate nicknamed me the 'aspect-ratio Queen' for complaining that the game renders in letterbox widescreen ratio on a 4:3 screen.

It's PRINCESS jackass.
edit2:
great soundtrack
Or in other-words, it brings the amount of great video-game songs called 'Still Alive' up to two, and pads the rest of the game out with otherwise passable and completely forgettable background stuff. Not that the game is big enough to make said padding particularly substantial.

I've tried a try before you buy:)naughty:) version and played through the first levels, but I found it pretty disappointing. After the part which is covered in the demo you really start to see you're doing the same thing, playing in a very poorly polished and buggy game.

if this is their new price I'll probably download this in the summer and play it. Right now I just have too much on my plate to add any more

Do you want to get banned? o_O

I liked it but I was disappointed overall considering it was my most anticipated game of last year :(

Great game, save for the ending. I recently tried to play it again but got bored. Now I'll probably sell it.

I thought it was great that it tried something new. The first time I loaded up the PC version my mouth did actually drop a little at how lovely it all looked and the fantastic use of actual first person body dynamics.
I will admit that towards the end of the game it did start to get a little repetitive but it's definitely a game that everyone should try at least once.

Oh, and the soundtrack is great, even the background music Kupocake.

I got it yesterday, and im loving it. The level design is incredible. While running I always know which way to go without having to pause and look around, breaking my flow. It is a lot more fluid than I thought it would be.

I heard a lot of people at release time that combat was ridiculously hard, but thats not the case at all for me. Its a little tough sure, but its one of those things that once you practice it, you wont have much trouble.

I do want to play this at some point (I think its an interesting concept, even if the games not perfect) , but just don't have the time at present.....

Remembering of course that the 'release time' reviews were done on the console versions, and with the precision of a mouse and keyboard missing with your pissy little clip-size becomes a whole lot less likely for a skilled player. Not to disparage the controller as a way to experience the game. The running (so, 99% of the game) is perfect for analogue stick control.

Oh certainly. It's probably the single most interesting First-Person game for several years, it's just that 'interesting' doesn't have to be synonymous with 'brilliant'.

On a second run-through on hard-mode trying to find all the runner bags (which isn't as difficult as it probably should be). Occasionally dipping into the time-trial and speed-run modes but... doing all this is barely treading a line between 'good value for money' and 'scraping every last bit from the 1/100 scale barrel'

btw I certainly don't deny that isn't full-price..but as I said,as long it's only foreign nationals ,I couldn't really bother.

I'm using a 360 controller. Still not difficult. The only control difficulty problem I had was when I was trying to snipe some guy who was far away. I could have gotten it, but my mouse was right next to me so I used that and got him. But beyond that, its been the controller the whole time and I have had no problems killing people.

lolwut

Must buy, I got this when it came out and loved it. The world was so cool loved the way it felt and looked. Plus there were some epic chances in that game.
