It doesn't even sound like she graduated from high-school. The internet made me more intelligent than her and I didn't even MAKE it to high-school.
 
Yeah I saw this earlier this morning. And people think blondes are dumb... wonder where they got that stereotype.
 
It's a clear cut case of someone telling her to use a bunch of big words or certain phrases that are common in intelligent sentences, or mention countires that are doing poorly in the world, in a feeble attempt to cover up for the fact that she isn't actually saying anything.

I'd say she's dumber than the people who can't locate certain countries on a map. I mean, the latter is just a lack of knowing a certain fact. The former is just plain stupidity. Inability to talk and make sense.
 
I'm certain that she doesn't know where Iraq or South Africa is.

That was a really tricky question, though. I'm not denying that her answer was pretty awful, but that's a sketchy question. On the one hand, she could have said that the US education system is bad, thereby pissing off a lot of Americans. On the other hand, she could have hinted that 1/5 of Americans are stupid/uneducated, etc. which would also piss off a lot of people. Finding a safe answer to that question while being put on the spot in front of millions of people is no easy task.

This was one of the first things I thought of too; how do you possibly answer that question?

On one hand, you could say that the reason she fumbled the question is because of the nature of the question.

On the other hand, it's quite obvious she's as dumb as a door knob and handled the question likewise.

I believe this is becuase of the failure of our education system to reach out to disadvantaged children who come from a background where education is not valued nor is success expected.

bumping this because yesterday I learned that she is supposed to come to my college, Appalachian State, next year. I definitely facepalmed when I heard that. Someone on the admissions board was probably drunk.
