Hey all! Have any of you ever wanted to play as one person on the baseball diamond? Well now you can :cheers: . In this you can level up, and put in points to make your character better. But keep in mind it's still in beta and has some bugs. Go to www.ultimatebaseballonline.com to check it out.

EDIT: I forgot to add that soon there will be leagues for a group of players to make a team and compete against other teams but that hasn't been officially started yet besides scrimmages.

I can tell you guys don't like baseball. It's pretty fun if you like baseball, not fun if you're into counter strike type games.

I love baseball. If I want to play baseball with other people I will go to the park, I wont play it online. I cant go to the park to play counter-strike with people, so thats why I play those types of games online.

This is the worst idea for a game, EVER.

Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love baseball. I play/train six times a week during the summer and I train indoors four times a week during the winter. Baseball is basically my life.
But to make an MMORPG for baseball? Heeeeeeelllllllllllll no. I already know it sucks without even trying it. Sorry.

It would be ok if you were a good position, like shortstop

but you'll probably be stuck as an outfielder and just stand there 90% of the time

Actually as of now games are only played 5 v 5 or 6 v 6 because of the small community so you always get an infield position. You guys just need to get in and play few games, it actually gets quite addicting. The game is pretty easy to be good at. Just remember that when you play this game it's not really like real baseball, there's more scoring.

Maybe if they let me stand in the outfield and play in the sand I'd be happy...
