MMORPG's Are Evil

Greetings all,

Not that any of you really care, but MMORPG's are IMHO, evil. I have been sucked into the world of the Free MMORPG. I simply cannot stop playing this damn game called Last Chaos. I am caught up in the game, hook, line & sinker. I wanted to take a slight break from performing Tech Support both online & off to relax and catch up on a few games. Now, I need a break from playing games as well...

I hope to resume my usual, if unorthodox commentary shortly. Soon as I get this MMORPG phase out of my system. I hope everyone is doing well & for those of you out there that are mom's,

I was wondering why I haven't got any help from you these past few days in the Hardware/Software section. I was depending on you, but your addictions have taken over.




I just bought Neverwinter Nights 2. I have never seen graphics this good before.

I haven't done any fighting or gotten addicted yet. Just standing in Awe, manipulating the camera, and soaking up the visuals.

At least there is no monthly fee.

Canceled my WoW account a month after playing it. Got so tired of being ganked in.....Hillsbrad? I usually don't like games that give you an advantage the more you play, but that's all rpg's.

BF2/2142 does have a nice mixture though. You have something to work toward but you're are still more than capable of killing anyone no matter how high they're rank is.

There are so many games out that have better.

You might need to turn up the settings. It's absolutely amazing in max settings. Put >4 light sourced shaders on everything and shit like that.

EDIT: Just thinking, for a week I was playing only PS1, then my computer was down for a week, so I hadn't seen any next gen graphics in a few weeks. I'm sure that makes them more impressive. I feel as though I've jumped 10 years in the future to see graphics this good. lol (it's like going from like going from PS1 to PS3 basically)

Yeah, I can't get a hold of it either, and I don't have high hopes for this game anymore.

It's a lot like WoW in many respects, but with more realistic and better graphics, but bad control... so far.

The opening movie is awesome.

It's good to get it out of your system sometimes. Every so often I return to an MMO, but then I always quit a few months later. I don't think it's good to play mmo's consistently. :x

meh, I have self control I can easily limit my time (actually life leaves me no choice) ..however I'll probably change that when Age of Conan comes out

Hey, I updated Neverwinter Nights 2 from 1.0 to 1.5 using the auto updater (just launch the game and from the menu select "UPDATE". They fixed the camera. Pretty sure it's a new patch.

Just select the "drive camera" and you have some new options.

I have it set up like WoW. You can now hold the left button to move as well as WASD. You can set it up like WoW though! :cheers:
