bought a K8N neo 4 platinum edition , non sli

waiting for my 3200 939 to come

on first glances of the motherboard it has quite a weight to it, and when i opened the antistaic bag the " new mobo thats acutally good smell" was bustin out
the southbridge has a cooling fan on it aswell as the boards 3 fan connectors

supports 4 sata drives and 4 ide dirves i do believe at dual fast ata 133!

i tihnk its going to be a lovely edition to my rig tho till i can affor a pci express gfx card im sadly using a 8 year old ati rage 3d card :frown:

you're getting 2 6800gt's and only a 3000+ and HALF a gig of RAM? That is interesting, but each to his own i guess. Imo sli is a rip off for the performance increase you get (which is no where near twice that of a single gpu). Half a gig of ram does not cut the mustard these days, and you need at least a 3200+ anyway to get the full potential out of one 6800gt, let alone two! I would recommend ONE high end card (6800ultra, x850xt.etc) then do something about that ram and cpu. Just my opinion and advice, but what the heck....

Thats missing a PSU (I got that just now actually, a 500w UltraX Connect (got it for $50)) and when I have the money I shall be waiting on the release of the G70. Going to be a nice computer so far. Not too sure about that keyboard though, if anyone else has recomendations I'll galdy like to hear em (I want to avoid those "media" buttons). And one more thing, it might end up being 2gb of RAM eventhough 1 is just fine. But my job gets me lotsa money, so I suppose if I have extra.
