How do i check to see if my mobo supports AGP 8x?

It would help to have a motherboard model, which is probably written on the board itself...

Do you actually want to know if it will do AGP 8x rates or just if an AGP 3.0 graphics card will work in your motherboard?

i just ordered a 6600gt 8x AGP. and i want to know if my mother board supports 8x agp.

An AGP 8x videocard will work in an AGP normally with no problems in 4x mode so as long as it fitx in the slot and you have enought power there should be no problem
