mod help

i've just got a new mod for hl2 sp, but i dont know how to install it, the readme tells me to put 'map combineonslaught' into the console but when i do it says map not found.
how do you extract files into another folder i.e the halflife 2 one?
help please thanks.

Is it a mod? or a map?

Mods go in the "C:\Program Files\Valve\Steam\SteamApps\SourceMods\(ModName)"

maps for hl2 just go in "C:\Program Files\Valve\Steam\SteamApps\steamidhere\half-life 2\hl2\maps"
