Hello there.
Journey of the Vortigaunt is centerd around the life of a Vortigaunt named Vex. He is a sargent, and a leader of a troop whit Vortigaunt soldiers. They are hidden under the surface of C17, so far down that the Citadel cant reach them.
Here, they have been hidden since Gordon Freeman destroyed theyr own worlds leader. And the only place they could go, was through a portal, that teleported them to earth. Litle did they know that the Combines was going for earth too, and now they find themself, again, in a war against the foes that made them slaves in the first place. Though the most of them are hidden in the city of V17, some of them comes up and fight along side of the rebels, but most are afraid of what the combines can do whit them. They have all heard about the prison where Vortigaunts are killed, or worst, made slaves again.
Vex and hes troops where to fight off a group of combines that have made a outpost near one of the entrances to V17, but they failed to destroye the combines, the troop that Vex was leading was killed, and Vex is taken to the prison.
So are the story so far, and from this point, you have the controll over Vex, to giud him out from the prison, find V17, and help the rebels in theyr battle for freedom. Theyr freedom, and the freedom of the Vortigaunts.
Our mod is going to show you more about the life of the Vortigaunts, how they live and the battle against the combines seen from theyr eyes. New weapons are under construction, new characters and new areas of C17. This mod will take you back to City 17, to fight against the Combines forces, only this time, you fight from the view of a Vortigaunt, using the technology that they have made over the years of freedom.
