Hi everyone, I've been thikning,
A Dragonball Z MOD on the HL² (Source) Engine...
A mod where you can fly, fight, fire energy beams, power up, teleport, transform to supersayajin etc. etc. on the HL² (Source) Engine.

There are a few mods like this, Bid For Power (a Quake III MOD) and Earths Special Forces (a HL MOD), the ESF mod is a good game, fun to play but lack of graphics.
I tried to talk to them but they explicitly said that ESF will not be brought to the HL² engine.

That's why I'd like to bring a same sort of game to the HL² engine.

It'd be great, rag dolls, great graphics, HUGE maps, interactive environments etc. etc.

The main problem is, I can't mod (for the new people, modding = making mods for a game) so if you know how to mod and would like to work on this project, please don't wait and contact me, you're also more than welcome to contact me when you'd like to know some more about my idea's.

Basicly I need people to code, map, design, etc. etc. etc.

My contact info:

I'm new here, but from what I gather (I.E. the thread called "Coding Forum - Rules"), this isn't a recruitment forum.

So you can't mod? What exactly would you be doing then?

Raking in the glory of other folks' work, like many 'mod leaders' seem to be trying to do these days.

If you want the respect of the modding community, learn a skill. Could be as simple as mapping, or as complex as coding, but without a skill, folks aren't going to want you to lead them.

I'll be managing/promoting the project/write the story (if a SP is possible), and no i don't what to take up all the glory for someone else's work, that's the least i want to do, i just want to get a decent DBZ fighting mod, and since there is noone is taking any action to do so, i'll just have to do it...
The coders/mappers/designers will get full credit for their work.

Then you shouldn't have a problem with relinquishing the leadership/co-oridation duties to a programmer, etc.?

(Just a little warning, Bid For Power had DBZ content/characters/etc. in it before, but after it was threatened to be sued, they removed the DBZ content from the mod itself.)
