Possibly posted before, but it's one of those videos I watch all over again when I stumble upon it and laugh everytime:

The sight of this little cheap car overtaking other cars while driving backwards or sideways is priceless (mind you, it was everyone's dream here in the commie days; still you often see it on the streets in Poland).

So how did they manage that?

Presumably they made the car super-fast and then turned the 'outer shell' (I know nothing of car terminology) around. You'll notice the steering column is still in the normal position, and the back actually has a radiator added. They kept the chassis, engine, steering column etc where they were.

Dunno how they make it go sideways, though. Guess they added steering to the rear wheels?
