Does anyone here know anything about train sets?

I have a bunch of Lima models (4 x Railways of Australia (Silver), 1 x Golden Fleece tanker, 2 x The Overland Passenger Cars (Red), and a 4469 Diesel engine.

I also have one Hornby, a Vic Rail Baggage Car (Blue).

I'm looking for info on how much these things'd go for today. They're in pretty good condition, considering the fact that they're probably about 20 years old. I plan to sell them on e-Bay. The only ones in their original boxes are the two R of A cars.

I think they're HO scale.

Can any of you guys help me?

Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaase?

your best bet would be to ask that on a hobbiest newsgroup or website I reckon

Well, I'll give it a shot.

Reason I'm asking is because I'll probably never use the trains so I want to e-Bay them as I need money to buy a computer to play... BOOM BOOM-BOOM BOOM... HALF LIFE 2!

Sell your spare organs on the black market. You can live a descent life without:

An eye
A kidney
A spleen
A lung
A good chunk of your liver

That should be good for a copy of Half Life 2. Don't forget to sell what's left to science after you die, you get the money up front!

The only thing I know is that HO scale is the most "popular" scale. When I was little I was all into trains like crazy. But if they're 20 years old then you might just have some colectors things on your hands. That'd be pretty cool.

Well, Fender357, a combo of a duplicate of my diesel engine, some similar cars to my R of A's and an oil tanker went for A$150 the other day on e-Bay.

Thanks for the link ray_MAN.

iamironsam, I think I'll keep most of my organs to myself for now. Unless someone wants to buy a used appendix.

BTW, Fender357 (can I just call you Fender?), can I stop wiggling my big toe now?
