Hey all

I'm currently looking for something to do, so I thought I'd post here and see if anyone needed any help. Currently I'm learning to texture and animate so I can do those things too.. but primeraly I model.

What I would like is something different. Not another world-war/swat/cs type mod.. have to be something different.. sci-fi or fantasy is very nice. Also you have to be serious about this, have good concepts and a good idea on how the mod should look/feel. I know its asking alot, but I've been in my share of mods that never have made it to the finish line, so it would be nice for once to get something done :)

samples of my lowpoly work can be found here: http://b0rg.com/lowpoly/
Happy to answer any questions you may have!

post a reply here or pm me :)

Suggestion: Start using correct grammar and capitalizing I's etc... This is not to flame you, it's just a suggestion, it makes you look a lot more "professional." (or serious, however you want to put it)

When you model, do you usually work with front/side drawings of the object your rendering? Or can you work with isometric views?

If your looking for a sci-fi type mod to model for then Defense Command is just your mod!

Its a post-apoc third person strategy game where you (initally) play as a unit in either the North West Republic Army or the Prol Army. The gamplay will be similar to Natural Selection or Savage, but not the same. We are also planning on implimenting features to reward players who work together rather than as lone wolves.

We are in need of modlers who can do low poly (really, really low poly) models of our map pieces as well as some other characters that have come up since the last round of character modeling happened.

If you can skin that would be a great bonus.

PM me or give me an emial at [email protected] if you want to know more.

You can visit the Defense Command page by following the link in my sig or by just clicking on: http://www.defensecommand.com

I hope to hear from you.

I am trying, but I am not a native speaker.

Cerebus: that depends.. some of the modeles are made from using templates front/side views, but I have also done some from ortograpich and some with nothing at all as reference. Easiest is of course front/side view.

Pendragon: I have put some samples of my high poly models here: http://b0rg.com/highpoly/

Adrien C: have not recived any PM from you?

armanguy: I have not played that game or mod you are talking about so if you are only looking for people who have that leaves me out :) I really liked the look of the character though, should make a fun mod to play :)

Tie and ductonius: I have gotten your messages and answerd them :)

thanks for all the responses so far!

That render of a Beholder - that's fantastic!!

Damn, Beldor, I know that the mod you join is going to end up with some incredible models.

Angry Lawyer: Thank you :)

Adrien C: I just saw that you had sent me a mail and not a pm, so looking into it now :)

Dunno what u was intending to ask or if u was just curious. But I wouldn't both if you was going to lead on with something else :p

Thanks Beldor mate, and I hope to work with you in the future.

Speaking as someone who's worked with this guy in the past, I can say he's a great chap, and a highly skilled modeller too.

:D

if you're looking for a medieval hl2 mod with revolutionary gameplay come to #hlmedieval =D

Wow! Thanks for all the offers and positive feedback :)
Didnt think it would have been that much!

I wish I could have done them all, but there is only one of me and 24hours a day :)
I have sent answers to all (I hope), and to those I had to turn down I wish the best of luck! Looking forward to seeing your mods finished, lots of good ideas out there :)
