Models Missing In Every Other Chapter

I've recently had some serious issues with HL2. I decided to play through it again for fun and in like every other chapter, the game exits to the desktop giving me a message that some model is missing, after I click that about 5 seconds later that memory error comes up and HL2 closes. I can't remember exactly what models they were but I remember in ravenholm it couldn't find a paintcan and in anticitizen one it couldn't find a apc wheel. This has never happened to me before so I don't know what to do. I deleted HL2 last night, along with the GCFs and reinstalled it and it was done by morning. But the problem is still going on. Any help would be appreciated.

What are your system specifications? I'd suggest to verify your Half Life 2 cache files. More info can be found here:
