moderate graphics card

i read the thread on building a system totally useful and thought maybe someone would have some advise on which graphics card i should install in my "in the process of building" machine. I am probably unlike most of you in that i am a moderate gamer-- so for me buying the msi radeon x800 for 400$ i think would be overkill. however at the same time i don't want to be too limited in which games i can play.

Any suggestions. Looking to keep this under 200$ or 150 euros

TBH i'm quite happy with the performance of my 9600pro - i play HL2@1280x1024, and D3/FarCry/UT@1024x768, although if i'd have known better at the time i probably would have bought a 9800pro or a 6600gt because the native resolution of my monitor is 1280x1024 and the 9600 can't quite cut it at that resolution

6600 gt im thinkin, or if you really want ati get a 9800pro althought the 6600 gt would be a better bang for your buck

6600GT performs better than the 9800pro. I have seen a benchmark where the 6600GT out performs the card by about 20fps in each test.
