This is awesome! Finally, since the claim first surfaced prior to the Half-Life 2 launch, Valve has announced they'll be hosting mods officially over their Steam platform. Great stuff. This is fantastic news for mod developers, amateur developers and game players alike as access to custom content is now thrust into the world's most popular digital game distribution platform.

Finally, god damn, they delayed this like 4/5 weeks ago.

great. gives PC gaming some a little bit, but more light.

I'm sure this is several weeks old. Or was that just speculation back then?

I'm hoping that this will make mods more popular.

Needs moar Black Mesa Source.

It'll be great to download big mods at speeds like 1mb/s, I hope this gets more people playing mods.

God, I hope so.

I really want more servers/players for Age of Chivalry, the maps are made for atleast 32 players and there's only ever 6/10 players on a server at any given time. :(

Yeah, I realised when I read Glenn's thread.

I'm glad that DIPRIP is there. I played the heck out of that game, but there wasn't enough competition for me... so it became quite boring.

Either way, I can't wait for DIPRIP: Warm Up release soon!!!!

Nobody says that. :(

maybe ii or ii da yo

this will make it so much easier to keep track with all the good mods out there.

moddb is just to. . . crowded.

Well I've heard it in more than one instance. But you're probably right as far as grammatical crap goes.
edit: oh yeah, I hope OL comes on this.
