Mods?

Im about to get this game but i want to known if u can use gary mod with it or anyother mods? Or is that only half-life 2.

You can use HL2 Ep1 with G-Mod, but you need to open gameinfo.txt and change the gcf number.

Well i dont know how to do that. I have half life 2 for xbox but i really want to use mods so im thinking about buying half life 2 for the pc and the later buying episode 1.

I think you need HL2 for mods
