So this weekend was the Mojam a charity event attempted by Mojang (Notch and crew). They spent the weekend programming a game they called Catacomb snatch, a multiplayer Egyptian steam-punk themed 2d shootem up strategy game. I don't know if any of you donated (I did) but as can be expected by any one with some programming experience the game that they were able to produce was highly unfinished and contained some game crashing bugs. I expected this from the start but the fact that it was a charity drive type thing I decided to take part.
Luckily they released the source code and I was able to fix a number of annoying issues with the controls and most of the game crashing bugs.
Although I am only fiddling around with it for fun I would like to release my build of the game. I am hesitant though since the game and its source files were only released to those who donated.
What do you guys think I should do?
