I formatted my computer yesterday in order clear the crap that was on it ready for hl2s release (BTW it increased my VST value at 1600x1200, exerything maxed inc AA & AF to 99fps instead of 72fps so a format was definately worth it)
Anyway, I reainstalled steam an copied my preloads back into the steamapps folder and all appeared well. My settings were retained and I thought all was peachy after running the VST.
But when I play CS now when I get a kill I no longer get the green money value appearing on the screen. It is also missing at the beginning of each round. Its only a small thing but it is annoying when you are having a long range battle with someone and you are not sure whether they are dead or not.
Everything else is fine apart from the lines that plague us GeForce 6800 users on Dust2.
Anyone else have this problem? Is there a way to make it appear again?
