Monitor Problem

I have a 17 inch hyundai imagequest q770 CRT monitor.

Until a few days ago it worked fine. Now the display image is warped and looks something like this:

I've already tried to no avail to adjust the image using the monitor options menu. It has the standard height, width, position and some additional I would say bizarre options, like: curvature, rotation, trapezoid etc.

My first thought was that maybe this is some weird driver problem, so I did a search, and it turns out this particular model has been discontinued, and all driver sites point to a now blank page on the official site...:dozey:

Any help would bw appreciated...

you can try adjusting the geometry (trapezoid and all that). If that doesn't work, then it's broken.

That's what I'm afraid of, buying a new monitor wasn't exactly in my plans.

Seriously, you should be able to get one free from someone.

I've got about 7 of those CRTs, I just recycled two of the oldest ones. In fact I was just offered a decent one a couple of weeks ago but I just don't have room for any more.

I don't know if you have places like Goodwill or Pawn shops.. I wouldn't pay much for a used monitor though.
