Can i set up in counter-strike 1.6 monitor refresh to 85 Hz?

I think you have to do that just in Windows. Always be sure that your monitor supports the refresh-rate you are about to set, because if it can't, your monitor will be worthless in just one flash.

Go to Config > Monitor > Tab Settings > Advanced > Adapter

If you have the same resolution in CounterStrike as in Windows, it should work fine.

Heh, mine can run at 100 ... I believe it maxes out at 120. (I did run it on 100 before, worked nice)

By default Half-Life runs in 60Hz no matter what you set your refresh rate at. You need to use a third party application to force your system into using something higher then 60hz when running the HL engine.

If you have an ATI card

Display Properties>Settings>Advanced>Displays>Click the Monitor box
Under Monitor Attributes is Refresh Rate Override change this to the setting you want.
