My Monitor is a Philips 107T5. When I open up ATI catalyst control center and go to monitor properties, it says my maximum supported resolution is 1920x1080. The strange thing is I can only go up to 1360x1280 and no higher...any ideas why?? I'm not sure if I can get it to go that high or not. Thanks.

EDIT: I can't go higher than my EDID right? (Extended display identification data)

I wouldn't try it. You can set it so that it will only display your monitor's supported resolutions; that would be wise.

I have a thread on this in the general game section but I thought I could ask it here also. I'm trying to set one of my games to the resolution 1360x1024. The problem is, the game does not have that resolution on the list to choose from. I need to change it using the game shortcut properties. I know you can change it that way so everytime the game starts, it changes to 1360x1024. I already tried it in the game cfg file and it worked. The problem is when I quit and open the game again, it changes to a higher resolution that my monitor can not handle. Anyone know what I'm talking about?? I've done it a long time ago but I forgot. Anyone help me on this one?

What ATI's max resolution in the control panel is and what your monitor supports are not the same. If you try to set it beyond your monitors capability your screen will go black and you might have to restart.
