monitor stuck in 47hz interlaced...

so i turn my pc on this morning and its way off skew but i didnt care just reset it, but then i noticed, went into my monitor menu and it was set to 1152X864 as normal but it was at 94hz it cant display that and it was horribly interlaced and jumpy, went in to the display properties and it said it was set to 75hz as normal but it certainly wasnt, i tried the other refresh rates and noticed no difference between 47hz interlaced and 75hz, i installed ragetweak3d like two days ago but it worked fine after restarts till this morning, i rekon my monitor is on the way out, the edges used to judder but stopped around 2-3wks ago and it has had an odd line going down the left side of the screen for about 5 months (barely noticeable) im still under guarntee n stuff so do you think its my monitor or something else. (compaq 7500 monitor, radeon 9600 256mb) please help! ;(

It sounds like your monitor has had enough... you should try it in another comp if you can.

I would be so p***** off if my monitor stoped working...they cost loads!!, unless your gonna get a cheap 2nd hand one where they brake it you touch it lol

well kinda good news but not at all, its not my monitor, its my system, i doubt my 9600 died already so i rekon its that NASTY NASTY NASTY rage tweak, means i have to reformat, piece of shit program!

My monitor died, and I could get a 2nd hand one from my fathers work. It's a drawing monitor, you can actually rotate it 90 degrees (a CRT), pretty cool
