Monitor Switches off with Bloodlines

Monitor switches off when I try to play. I can't even start the game in Safe Mode. Tried changing the video driver. The game is running because I can hear the opening screens. When I close the game down to a window, my monitor switches back on again. All other games including Half Life 2 do not have this problem. Can Anybody please help? I have the UK version of the game and it is a genuine sealed copy.

Sounds like you're running at a resolution your monitor doesn't support.

Yeh. Cheers. I sorted it. I'd used Refreshforce a few days ago and it screwed up my refresh rate. I overode it in Dxdiag.
