Monster Hunter, one week

The one game I have been waiting over a year for will finally come to the US on the PS2 in a week.

What's Monster Hunter you say? Well its like Phantasy Star Online but replace the guns for huge ass great swords/swords/hammers/lances/bowguns. When I say huge weapons I mean huge, take a look at this wallpaper for example. The game takes place in a prehistoric era where humans and dinosuars/monsters/dragons roam the world.

Coolest thing about multiplayer mode is that you cordinate attacks and plan traps. One person can play decoy to lure the monster into a trap and have the three other players jump it. The whole point of the game is to kill stuff, take loot, get better equipment, then take on bigger things.

The game is online and offline, allows 4 players, best thing of all ITS FREE TO PLAY IT ONLINE!!!

hmm, sounds intriguing. i like the idea of getting cash to buy (even bigger) weapons, then taking on big monsters. for a game like this i say the less linear the better... but then again capcom arent exactly known for linear are they?

anyway, if my PS2 worked i would have my eye on this

meh I dont have an internet connector thing for it.. how muich do they run for. I have cable.
