Mini ITX is nothing new, i've had a Via C3 system with no fans (totally silent) for a long time ... makes a good always-on webserver/chatbox/browser. It's slightly bigger than a mac mini, but that's the fault of the case (its the smallest i could find) but its still small and good.

Thinking of upgrading the mainboard now though, to give it more juice. Still keeping it fanless though, theres something great about a completely silent PC.

Yeah, but the amazing is that they crammed on a 775-socket, 4 s-ata ports
2 ddr2 slots and one pci-e x16 port on that space.
The new pico-itx's are unbelivable small (talking small mobos).
 
Imagine an 8800GTS on that mobo. :|
