I've not listened to this in ages. I've always liked it, but for some reason, recently its just really got to me... I think I'm going through something a man I once knew, talked about. He remembers a time when we was about my age, where he was listening to some classical music and suddenly the emotion flowing through the music hit him...

Like I said I've always liked it, and I like classical music...but man, I just can't turn it off. Every note seems to speak volumes to me...

Basically. :)

I think its called Moonlight Sonata anyway. Its by Beethoven.

I love the third movement of the moonlight sonata the most. It touches me so much. The first one I like almost as much but barely misses the mark. Love it all though.

The 3rd movement sounds incredible on the guitar!

I've not heard it done 'normally' in ages, time for a snoop on le interznet

I like the piece too. I thought I'd randomly throw out a couple of tunes that quote or make use of it:

"Blues in Elf" by Don Ellis (Intro is the sonata, only in 11/8. It's cool.)
"Schroeder" from "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown" (Schroeder plays the sonata on piano while Lucy sings over it. Also cool.)

I love most classical music, it's very emotional and powerful, as well as beautiful.

Actually, it's my favorite classic song of all times. My dad used to play it at piano to help us sleeping.
