More Half-Life 2 Reviews on Shelves

Yesterday we reported that Italian magazine, GMC, would have their magazine in stores today containing a Half-Life 2 review. Well, it's on store shelves right now and they've given it a well deserved 9/10.[br]

Also hitting the store shelves today is PC Format UK which has already been printed in PC Format Slovenia. As we reported previously, PC Format scores it at 96%[br]

[br]Both of the reviews hold pretty much the same information as all of the previous ones, but if either one is your favourite magazine, you now have the opportunity to read them.

you know this woman just showed up for some photo shoot some day... not even knowing what Half Life was... and the guy shooting the pics handed her a crowbar and said, "hold this suggestively and smile."

I assume it has something partly to do with marketing. Magazines get to play Half-Life 2 at Valve HQ for review purposes - providing they're willing to hold Half-Life 2 on the front of the magazines.

It gets the normal people (read: people that don't spend day and night following the game) interested in it and hyped up about it so they'll want to buy it. We're just a small percentage of the people that will buy it, the rest are the ones that see the reviews.

Half-life 2 mania is spreading, everyone should know about it... Valve really need to get the billboards stuff full of half-life 2 posters and such. Noone gamer or non-gamer should miss out on the game when its released.
