More Terminator Salvation Stuff

Lost all interest in this after the PG-13 rating.
Faith was shaken when they had motorcycle terminators and giant ****ing transformer terminators, this is only a few god damn years into the future and they're showing shit crazier than what the actual war scenes in the original films had.

I predict a C+/C- average rating from most critics.

so download it for free?? its not like someones forcing you to pay to watch it. imo a movie is worth watching even if people don't like it. **** the reviewers, they gave dumb and dumber a 1/4 stars and I absolutely love that movie.

the biggest hurdle this movie has to overcome is that for the first time a Terminator movie is not about a terminator
 
Not hyped for this at all. And boo to the generically good looking love interest.
 
Eh, still not excited. If I'm near a cinema I can use my Unlimited card at when it comes out I'll prob watch it anyway.
 
Also, you could make a good argument that the first Terminator film was only partially about a terminator too.
 
Certainly I will watch it, but ugh, what direction is this? The designs for the machines are so untasteful, so action-movie cliché -- I do not see anything redemptive about it. Nothing that will salvage it, at any rate. Ho Ho.

You are suggesting that people are not at liberty to be negative of that which is so evidently bad? That they should not castigate it, or seek to be analytical of its failings? I'm afraid what you are suggesting is stupid and ignorant. What's more, the "reviewers" are not a collective entity; I like to think anyone with half a brain would find little appeal in 'Dumb and Dumber'.

Also, it's an action movie. Of course there's action movie clichés. As long as it's better than T3, it's a good step along the path to redemption.

Yes, that's exactly what I posted. I put "stupid" and "ignorant" in bold; I wasn't trying to be discreet. I think anyone with such an attitude as Warp's is a moron, and a significant one. If a consequence of that is condescension, so be it.
 
I still have my doubts about this movie, no matter how good the trailers may look.
Terminator 3 left a bad taste in my mouth and a director that calls himself "McG" isn't very reassuring either.
 
The trailers made me hyped for this movie, but the clips make it look terrible. We'll see.
 
Yeah I think its all going downhill after the PG-13 rating. Honestly if this movie is done right, it could be as entertaining and fun as starship troopers I think. But it really doesnt look that way lately.
 
Alright trailer, will probably see it if I can afford.

It's a movie about two idiots doing dumb things. There's not much of a target to hit here. And so what if most people had a few laughs along the way? I guess we're not allowed to chuckle at stupidity any more, so goodbye Jackass and Harold & Kumar. I'm relegating myself to my private theatre where I can guffaw and slap my knees all day watching Dr. Strangelove and other "high-brow" humor classics.

As for Terminator Salvation...

As for the film, I'm still hoping it's going to be alright. Empire magazine said what they have seen so far was brilliant.
