Mormonism explained.

Wow, I watched up to the bit so far where they talk about blacks and whites.

How racist is that...? Black being a curse and for being neutral? pfft...

Neutrality isn't a curse! It's a state of neither good nor bad... it's... mildly satisfactory.

I god-damned lol'd, Raziaar. Damn you.

Mormonism and Scientology have both been perfectly taught to me by South Park.

I god-damned lol'd, Raziaar. Damn you.

Hehe... I saw another ripe moment to use those two so I took it.

But... wow, I didn't know Mormons believed in all that stuff. It almost seems too bad to be true.

I thought they were merely another spin-off of Christianity.

Holy crap....wow.

If there was a Caucasian race in the Americas with metal armor in the 400's why did the natives continue using padded cloth at best a thousand years later? And why is there no evidence of said Caucasians?

Oh, and the stuff about Africans is horribly offending.
And lol @ the part where God shows up at Mary's door to have sex with her.

Joe Smith is a good Sci-Fi writer at best...

WTF to all of it.

Pretty much all of that crap is made up/ exaggerated.

I don't even feel like explaining to you guys. I'm too dissappointed in you taking it seriously :|

I half expected cheesy 70s porn music to start playing.

"You called for a God?"

"My faith is leaking!"

"Well let me just get my tool and I'll fix it right up for you..."

Bow Chicka Bow Wow

I know nothing of the Mormon faith, though when I worked with one he never mentioned any of that when I asked about the beliefs of his people. I'm guessing it's one part of those anti-religious videos.

That's really not what mormons believe. But I lol'd anyways.

It is to a large extent. In the 1960's, when the civil rights movement took ground they dropped the racist stuff. But it's a very absurd religion. Utterly ludicrous.

We should challenge such people to support their believes through reason.

Is mormanism the one where they believe Jesus came back to da house in the early 20th century?

Wait... wait... wait... wait... wait... wait... wait...

These people really believe Jesus found America? That sounds like something out of a ?ber-Christian dictature state.

Joseph Smith was called a prophet
Dumb dumb dumb dumb dumb
He started the Mormon religion
Dumb dumb dumb dumb dumb.

Dumb dumb dumb dumb dumb
Joseph Smith was called a prophet-

Dumb dumb dumb dumb dumb
Many people believed Joseph
Dumb dumb dumb dumb dumb
And that night he-ee saw an angel
Dumb dumb dumb dumb dumb

Dumb dumb dumb dumb dumb

Joseph Smith was called a prophet
Dumb dumb dumb dumb dumb

Dumb dumb dumb dumb dumb

He found the stones and golden plates
Dumb dumb dumb dumb dumb
Even though nobody else ever saw them
Dumb dumb dumb dumb dumb

Dumb dumb dumb dumb dumb

Dumb dumb dumb dumb dumb

And that's how the Book of Mormon was written
Dumb dumb dumb dumb dumb
Dumb dadumb dumb dumb dumb dumb
Dumb dadumb dumb dumb dumb dumb
Dahumb dahumb dumb dumb dumb dumb
Dumb dumb dumb dumb duuumb, duuumb.

Martin went home to his wife
Dumb dumb dumb dumb dumb
And showed her pages from the Book of Mormon
Dumb dumb dumb dumb dumb

Lucy Harris smart smart smart
Smart smart smart smart smart

Martin Harris dumb dadumb-

Lucy Harris smart smart smart
Martin Harris dumb.
So Martin went on back to Smith
Said the pages had gone away
Smith got mad and told Martin
He needed to go pray
Dumb dumb dumb dumb dumb

Dumb dumb dumb dumb dumb

Dumb dumb dumb dumb dumb dumb dumb.

...Um...

Wow, remind me to drop acid the next time I watch that shit.

The scary part is that there's a mormon millionaire running for the republican nomination.

What you have watched is anti-Mormon rhetoric. Media created by those who view the LDS Church with extreme prejudice, and a good portion of those individuals are former Mormons.

Let me tell you this, with all my sincerity, a very large portion of that video was fabricated, straight thru the teeth, lies. These individuals will do anything to get anyone to believe that the Mormon church is absurd, dangerous, and malicious. These people have developed a hatred for the church and goto extreme lengths to turn others against it. They make references to the Book of Mormon and plainly LIE about it.

This is such a joke and it really makes me angry. People do have the choice in what they believe about us, but it's plain maliciousness. Read the Book of Mormon yourself and you'll see.

If there was a Caucasian race in the Americas with metal armor in the 400's why did the natives continue using padded cloth at best a thousand years later? And why is there no evidence of said Caucasians?

Not sure about the armor question, but it could be a cultural reason. But as for evidence of "Caucasians", or white individuals in South America, you can look at Quetzalcoatl. A white God, born from a Virgin, symbol of resurrection, etc. Seems as time goes on too, there have been some uncoverings of buried cities in Mexico or Meso America. I remember seeing something like this on the news a while back, but in the Book of Mormon it talks about cities being swallowed up, destroyed, etc. It's all an interesting subject, and considering the Book of Mormon was published in 1830, it wasn't just based on current events at the time it was written. Joseph Smith's educational level compared to today's standards is roughly compared to an 8th grade level, so it really is difficult from a logical perspective how he created these Scriptures.

I've always found it to be an interesting subject. As Mormons, we believe that we shouldn't base our testimony on physical evidence, but more so our personal, spiritual experiences.

Umm... the buried cities and civilizations in Meso America and South America are simply civilizations that predated the Aztecs, Mayans, Txlaxcalans and Inca like the Olmec etc. Same with Mexico and the States. Civilizations there didn't start with the ones we are most acquainted with. Cities weren't swallowed up, they were buried over thousands and thousands of years of environment change. Growing jungles, flooding and more.

I don't know what you're talking about Quetzalcoatl and him being white. I am a big fan of mesoamerican civilizations and from what I know about Quetzalcoatl, anything about him being called white was because of his beard or the mask he's depicted with. It's also used in a philosophical light, as being a counter to the 'black' Tezcatlipoca.
