Hi, I've posted in the other forum more specifically but I'm looking to upgrade my setup for the future (i.e. HL2) and am trying to figure out my biggest bottleneck.
Here's my current rig-->
1.5ghz p4
384mb SDRAM
128mb FX5200
Prob is, each of these elements are weak cos my p4's bus speed's only 400mhz and it's only the old 256kb L2 cache
Ram aint DDR
Graphics card's shit and my motherboard only supports 4x agp
I have only a small amount of cash (£150)
What should be changed? I was thinking either mb so I get 8xagp and DDR or instead getting a new Radeon9600XT
What do you reckon?
Also, how can i indentify my motherboard (there's no name visibile on it itself)
