Motion Sensor Paintball Gun

Oh lawd

Horray when engineers play paintball

This is incredibly awesome. I think I am going to make one of these for a robotics project next year.

Sweet. But I bet it could be avoided if you started running and then threw something in the opposite direction- the sentry seems to attack the latest movements rather than the largest.

The guy tried that, twice. Didn't work. Unless you specifically mean run then throw.

He threw the distraction first then he booked it. If he booked it *then* threw the distraction, he'd probably get a good few seconds of freedom.

Now people can use all those TF2 Sentry jokes in real life!

Now if it's a bullet proof laptop with long range on the motion sensor. They could probably use it in war, well it probably doesn't have to be long range to be at least somewhat effective.

Laptop is probably there because the program hasn't been completed yet, and it'd be a hassle to change out the hardware every time they added another line of code.

the trick seems to be be moving slowly...when he hides behind the board it only reacts when he pops out his head fast or do any fast movement...when he just does the cautious peeks it doesn't track or fire.

I'm totally going to get one, dress up as an engineer and go paintballing.
