G4 says 32 at a time. Which is a bit low, sadly. But hopefully the netcode will be flexible. Who knows, we might see 128 players at a time or more. Hopefully.

This could really be great if it's well-executed. Hell, I'll be impressed if they manage to just get the battles working online, let alone incorporating people running around the map and building up their armies. Seems like even the least bit of lag could really **** people up.

So long as they don't simplify the combat like Dark Messiah did with their multiplayer.
