Mount & Blade

Mount & Blade has been getting a lot of attention lately. It's an indie title that looks a bit like Morrowind, but it has a different premise. After watching a couple of video's my impression is that it's about roaming the land on your horse, killing baddies while assisted by a posse of farmers. It all looks a bit austere but the buzz surrounding this title is getting louder and louder. There's a a demo which I am contemplating about downloading, but I thought I'd ask you guys opinion first. Anyone who played the demo or the full version?
