I just bought a new mouse (hardware thread) which is very nice, but I'm having trouble in games.
Basically I've always had ball mice, and this is a laser mouse (Logitech 610 or something). I've got into the habit of repositioning the mouse on the desk by lifting it slightly and moving it to where its comfortable.
Its something I do because in some games you can end up running up a spiral staircase, and you run out of space to move the mouse.
Problem is that the mouse still works when its hovering in the air (whereas a ball mouse wouldn't) and my character moves around when I'm repositioning the mouse.
Is this just a habit I'll have to get out of, or is there some way around it, say reducing the sensitivity of the laser or something?
