mouse pads

Im looking at getting a 'gaming pad' but am a bit sceptical- how much of a difference do these things make?

Is the Ratpadz GS a good one? That's the cheap(ish?) option im looking at- any other ideas for around the $15-20 US mark?

If you get a decent mouse pad then it can make your playing experience a more pleasurable one, it may improve your aim a little as well, although not by a great deal. I have found that my razer exactmat gave me a little extra accuracy, especially as the surface is so uniform and the mouse never sticks, catches etc like it may on a table, or desk. I would say go for it, but don't expect a major transformation, although you will most probably find it a good purchase !!!
