Moved to New Apartment!!

Well this past week the wife and I have been finishing our move to a new apartment complex. It's $100 cheaper, 150 sqft bigger, and much nicer than our last one (its just cheaper because its not as good of a neighborhood)

Here are some pics. I love this place.

Here's the floorplan first of all. I got no pics of the bedroom because its still a mess with boxes - we haven't fully finished unpacking.

Good idea but the walls are Navajo white it'd stick out like a sore thumb. I hadn't thought of that though.

When we had to help somebody move out of their apartment in rapid time since it was the last day they were allowed to be in there, we went around patching the nail holes by taking some makeup and mixing it with toothpaste to match the proper color of the paint. LOL.

haha. Im thinking of renting a house here. I could get a good, three bedroom house for a little over 500 bucks a month. Right now im paying 530 for a 4 bedroom apartment and my room sucks. So I figure why not get a whole house to myself for the same price?

Yeah thankfully im way north of the coast, so hurricanes aren't so bad. I was driving through hurricane Gustav when moving in here hahah. Made it a bitch to find hotel rooms since everyone was evacuated up here. As for jobs... not really. Theres not really much of anything here. The only reason im here is because I got a job offer right out of college at a game studio that happened to be here. But as soon as I get a couple released titles, im getting the hell out of here before the boredom consumes me.


But I must say, the cost of living, combined with a good job and good salary almost make it worth it. Almost. Maybe when I get my own house it will be better. Also, maybe when I start drinking to pass the time like everyone else does around here.
