But its a great movie, very epic that has been enjoyed by thousands of people..
(Yes. i know its short but its quality, instead of quantity)

I highly reccomend you get the high quality version. You might even be suprised when you get shivers (its happened to alot of people).

I'm working on my 3rd right now, ill give you the heads up when its finished

That was a pretty decent video. Woulda been funny with one last powerful hit in the music at the end after the lull...and the C4 exploding on the BH :D

But all in all, great movie.

Yes! This video shows that no one can ever stop the mighty black hawk! Or even a tank mortar shell! Bow down to black hawk wh0res. :P LOL!

Actually, I like your other movie - "Assault on (at?) Ocel Cekca Keyes" more. Great music choice and synchronisation with the movie

^ heh, im trying to get a whole series of movies.. each a different type of style and focusing more on something else. The first one i made was a usual flag cap you see every day only a bit dramatized. The second one i made was an ambush with the blackhawk that was epic. And the 3rd one.. :) consider it fast heartbeat racing action

Downloading... (ew, 60KBPS... >_>)

Very nice video, high quality and well edited.

very cool movie.

it pisses me off how cool that game is and how much fun i used to have when we got a full squad of hl2.net folks. i still play the game and enjoy it, but its not the same. we really need to get a squad together some day...

That movie earned a permanent place on my hard drive. Hideo would be proud of you.

Make sure that when you play back the demo you never go into "follow" mode because then the name appear.

Otherwise awesome movie, I already commented on it at hl2files.com

Nice editting but once the bullets started flying it got boring.

Is your 3rd movie done or are you still working on it?

Still working on it, i got the end done or close to almost all done, and im starting to do the beginning and the rest of it.. its going along a bit slowly, we only film on weekends mainly.. and some weekends we dont have enough members to act.. (its a clan only based acting as of right now, maybe i will get select others to help if this persists)

Heh cyberpitz, i wish but with 2+ months gone by, i would think so too.. apparently not though :(

Regarding your movie
I was banned from putfile so i cant hear the song, i hope everyone considers www.picapic.com instead, it does have better features and i will be using that for my future movie streams
but i would sorta need a storyboard like thing for that one, it could be done but with the slow parts, it would need good and interesting camera angles to make sure they dont loose attention to the movie

I remember seeing this on totalbf2. Good stuff. Some people over there were going a but nuts over the video but I still say GJ and keep up the good work.

Having a lot of self confidence is good, but no offense, watch out for this nasty bug: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hubris.

It's a harsh world out there, and standing too high up only means you'll fall harder, so keep low and you'll always be able to get back on your feet right away.

Sincerely,

Pretty cool.

Although the cuts are a bit too quick for my taste.

some nice editing, timing and atmosphere ...but why didnt you remove the names of the players ..that would have made it more realistic looking

I didnt know how at the time?
Thats mainly the reason, and i didnt want to redo the shots over again

For now, lets just make it the fact that this IS a game and is STILL a game no matter what, everything in this movie was in bf2 with people actually playing.. think of it that way.. next one wont have the nametags

Not bad, but you went hella overboard on the flashing/blurring/fading/slowmo. :p

It was suppost to follow the "Man on Fire" type of editing, man on fire has alot of flashes simmilar to that

i should have said that in the beginning but forgot, but thats the reason of the numerous flashes

Edit: Isnt all blackhawk battles one sided? ;)

Yeah but the constant slow-mo and Bruckheimer 'the camera is covered in honey and syrup' effects kind of lessened the impact of the combat, made it seem slicker but personally I think for a BF2 machinima that's exactly what you don't want. I haven't seen Man on Fire anyway.

Meh, perhaps.. but you will never know if you never try.. and i just try to get different styles and types of actions each time i make a movie, for variety

I had some fun at a LAN party recreating a BH crash (done to death but it was fun). Shame we didnt video the smoking blackhawk spinning out of control and coming to a harsh stop against a building.

Very cool movie. I liked it a lot.

^ oh my god, this newer video is taking FOREVER. I extended the storyline so its now 4-5 min long instead of 3, and it gives you the sense of a complete story. Now i want even more from it and i gotta learn some stuff and see if its possible.. but trust me, you will NOT want to miss this one if you enjoy my videos.. this is a big step up from my previous works.. (no name tags garunteed and sound design will be included)

Ill keep you updated, im sure this will take quite a while to do (although im hoping my new acting standards will increase efficency alot).. Plus i need a new gfx card to get some higher quality video shots for the close ups..
