Enjoy.

I still say Kevin Spacey if he hadn't done Superman Returns.

Heath Ledger sounds cool, but it's only an offer. He'll probably take it, but I don't see him as the type of person that can go madly bonkers.
Unless Jake plays his lover again in some Batman and Robin tryst.

HEATH LEDGER CMON!!!!!

Oh well, maybe he'll do a good job at it

Not like Ledger's a bad actor, he could probably pull it off. I imagine Goyer's going to be using The Killing Joke and Arkham Asylum as his inspirations for the script this time around. Personally, I was hoping for Depp or Glover.

No, Ledger's not bad. It's just that I can't imagine him as the Joker.

But who knows. He might have some hidden psycho facet that's not been seen yet.

The funny thing is, when I heard Ledger I immediately thought of The Killing Joke. I'll reserve my judgement on him being the Joker for now. Hopefully he can pull it off.

I still say Nicholson's the only true Joker though. :p

It could be interesting to see how this turns out. Obviously, whoever is doing the casting must have seen something to make them think hes suitable for the role.

He'll be hard pressed to better Jack Nicholson though.

I'm not convinced. We'll see.

Bad news about Hulk 2. I still believe Ang Lee should do it, since I thought the first film was awesome.

Wow. Now that's a first.

A bit of prosthetics on Heath Ledger could do the job. Especially on the chin.

Although you wouldn't have though Jack Nicholson could've done it either.

I enjoyed the first Hulk a great deal as well. I don't want to sound like a pretentious asshole, but the movie "transcended" the comic books. Ang Lee painted a tragedy piece with the Hulk and turned it into more of a character driven story than "HULK SMASH" kind of thing. Unfortunately, no one else saw it that way.

I was hoping for Hugo Weaving as the Joker personally....:(

Heath Ledger has the ability to ruin a movie singlehandedly. Hope Nolan is on the ball this next film and Batman Begins just wasn't a fluke.

I myself liked Hulk as well, but this isnt going to be Hulk 2 its more of a remake.

I'd love to see a different and more "realistic" interpretation of the Joker. The Tim Burton films were quite theatrical compared to Begins.

Hulk 2? Thats bad news. I don't actaully know who Heath Ledger is, but I thought that Batman Begins was standalone? Obviously not.
I'm was "meh" about Spidey 3 as well, but the trailer looks quite good, I might fork out £4:00 to see it.

The hulk movie is a redo of the movie a couple years ago, isn't it?

my mom-"The joker? I'd hit it."
She likes Heath Ledger, you see.

Just watched Batman Begins again today. Brilliant film.

Heath Ledger huh? I wonder if they'll go the creepy route like in this promotional poster:

:O

I thought you'd like that. :)

The actor is Conrad Veidt and he played the role of the Joker in one of those ancient live action Batman TV shows (before the 60's version with Adam West).

I wonder if anyone can help dig up some more information on this guy as he definately looked the part. I would have loved to see some footage from that TV series with this Joker as the villian.

Damn, that guy was the PERFECT joker. Almost exactly what he looks like in the comics. That's amazing.

Not to be a pain in the ass, but the orignial poster seems to be on crack ......

He's...excitable.

Raziel-Jcd's always been like that. You're hard pressed to find something he's not excited about.

Yes, it is quite incredible. I think it's the teeth.

Well that's interesting. Apparently this guy never did play the Joker (I was under the impression he had). Instead, it turns out that Conrad was the INSPIRATION for the Joker. :O
